Essential Research: 57% of Australian surveyed won’t vote for LNP
An Essential Research poll (Essential Vision) done on the 5th of September showed that 57% of Australian surveyed on their first preference showed that that they wont put Liberal National Coalition as a first preference.
When asked on how set in their firmness of voting intention 81% said that they will definitely not or are unlikely to not change their mind. In the same survey 37% said that Australian Labor were better place at looking after people’s interest. While at the same time Labor is best to handle education and health.

Regardless of who anyone votes for, there’s a damn good chance we’ll end up with a bunch of politicians in charge and, looking at the available talent, this is a major problem for Australia.
Australians have 3 year now to find good honest decent people with leadership qualities, and encourage them to run for parliament. If enough good ones get involved they will swamp the entrenched crud which currently controls both major party’s.
Maybe we need a coalition of independents, dunno !!
And in the meantime, keep your beer cold and your bed warm.
