RealNewsOne’s Mission Statement

It is said that there are 1500 newspapers, 1100 magazines, 9000 radio stations, 1500 TVstations, & 2400 publishers that are all owned by 3 corporations. Although this is hard to corroborate, in some countries like Australia the majority of the media,TV, Radio and Print is owned and controlled by one family, this same family own the newspapers on 3 continents and in 2010 avoided paying $875 million in tax to the United States government[1]. This is a dangerous situation. This should not be allowed to happen.

Real News One believes the reader should have a choice. You should not have to contend with being shown one side of the story. Over the years hundreds of thousands of people have chosen realnewsone.com as their source of news.  RealNewsOne has been spoken about and mentioned in pubs,clubs,bars, the dinner table and all sorts of places. People from the left and right side of politics log on and share the content. We know we have a platform with which to communicate and educate- to make a difference . As such we want to present to you our mission statement.

Our Mission Statement:

We aim to be a true alternative and completely independent of the conservative press controlled by one family and conservative political parties. We will tell the stories from the other side, from social issue groups, trade unions, political groups from the left and independent groups – all such groups that are maligned by the conservative media. We also promise to hold any government (including Labor Governments) accountable for their actions. We also promise to stand up to Murdoch and his like in the media.

Our mission is simple: To offer a real alternative and an independent alternative to the conservative- right wing media at home and abroad. Our vision is to become a real alternative for providing media and news for everyone.
